 Saree Only, No Blouse Piece

The subtle grace of a Shibori saree is unmatched. Shibori is an ancient dyeing technique that came to the sub-continent from Japan. Similar to homegrown tie-dye techniques like Bandhani, the Shibori technique involves resisting the dyeing of fabrics. The patterns created using this technique blend well with any type of fabric making it a highly versatile method of dyeing. To match class with comfort, we have set the Shibori pattern by hand on a pure modal silk Saree. The striped zig-zag pattern is set to white on a dark base.
