Batik, a fabric printing technique originating from South East Asia, employs a unique resist dyeing technique. Wax is used on parts of fabric that are not meant to absorb the dye. This meticulous hand made technique now features on this light and comfortable Mulberry Silk Saree. The Saree is stretched out and the designs are 100% hand drawn, dyed and then finished with a large Durga Ma Mural that is hand painted on the Pallu.

The saree is ready to wear with falls and pico done. An unstitched blouse fabric is included.
Note: Product color may slightly vary due to photographic lighting sources or your device settings. This saree is handmade and there may be slight inconsistencies such as in the painting. Being a work of hand these are characetristic and are not considered defects.
