This beautiful Sambalpuri silk saree is like a canvas on which beautiful colors and patterns play, almost telling a story. A striking contrast of blue and red makes for an impressive beauty. The saree has 18 unique motifs which are repeating throughout its body and include depictions from nature such as elephants, leaves and plants.
The saree is ready to wear with fall and pico done. Shobitam Signature tassels are meant to sway garcefully with the pallu.

About the weave: Sambalpuri silk originated from Odisha in India. The motifs and patterns that adorn the body of the saree have deep symbolism and significance in the native Odia culture. It is woven on a hand-loom and features a rich variety of depictions such as bulls, horses, elephants, leaves and butterflies!
