Kanchipuram Silk Saree Often called the queen of silks', Kanjeevaram is deeply rooted in mythology, history, and tradition. Legend has it that Lord Shiva chose Sage Markandeya to weave fabrics for the Gods and humans and it is his descendants who later settled in this holy town. These sarees are known for their motifs and patterns inspired by temple architecture.
The contrasting color combinations, and the elaborate zari patterns make the time-tested kanjivaram a rare jewel amongst all Indian silk. This grand saree comes in a splendid shade of Green & Mustard Dual Tone and features a rich body. The contrast borders with splendid Zari designs adds to the grandeur of this drape.
