The renowned Parsi Gara technique of embroidery originates from China where many Parsi merchants lived and traded.
During their travels they brought this distinct art back with them to Mumbai, where it is currently practiced.

Completely hand embroidered in elegant muted threads on pure Tussar Silk, the borders feature Chinese Peonies, a symbol of good luck and small dotted buttas on the body.

The color is a sober Taupe ( Gray with a tinge of Beige) and the Tussar Silk Fabric is Silk Mark Certified for purity.

The saree us ready with falls and pico done. An unstitched blouse fabric is included.
